Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using iGrammar ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and iGrammar ("Developer," "we," "us," or "our").

2. Description of Service

iGrammar is an AI-powered keyboard extension for iOS that provides:

  • Text transformation (polishing, rewriting, generation, translation)
  • Multiple writing personas and custom persona creation
  • Subscription-based usage limits

3. Subscription Terms

3.1 Subscription Tiers and Pricing

iGrammar offers various subscription plans (including Free and Pro tiers). The features, pricing, billing cycles, and specific usage limits (including transformation caps, rate limits, and character lengths) for each tier are detailed within the App, on our App Store product page, or at the point of purchase.

Pricing and subscription terms are subject to change. Prices are determined by Apple and may vary by region due to taxes, currency exchange rates, and App Store policies.

3.3 Auto-Renewal

Subscription automatically renews unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.

3.4 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. To cancel:

3.5 Refunds

All subscription purchases and refunds are handled exclusively through Apple. For refund requests:

We do not process refunds directly.

3.6 Promotional Offers

We may offer promotional pricing, including discounted rates for new subscribers, win-back offers for lapsed subscribers, or introductory pricing. Promotional offers are subject to eligibility requirements and may be limited in duration or availability.

3.7 Price Changes

We may change subscription prices with at least 30 days' notice. Price changes will not affect active subscriptions until the next renewal period.

4. Usage Limits and Fair Use

4.1 Usage Caps and Reset Cycles

To ensure service quality, prevent system abuse, and maintain fair availability, iGrammar enforces usage limits (caps) across all subscription tiers (including both Free and Pro/paid tiers). These limits may be daily, hourly, or lifetime limits, and reset or expire as described within the App, on the paywall screen, or at the point of purchase.

4.2 Gating and Upgrades

Once your tier's usage limits are reached, access to AI-powered features will be temporarily paused. For time-based limits, access resets automatically at the start of the next cycle (e.g., daily or hourly resets). For lifetime limits, you must upgrade to an eligible paid subscription tier to continue using the service. We reserve the right to adjust these limits at any time.

5. User Accounts and Conduct

5.1 Age Requirement

You must be at least 16 years old to use iGrammar. In jurisdictions where the minimum age of digital consent is lower (but not below 13 years), users between 13 and 15 may use iGrammar with verifiable parental or guardian consent. By using the App, you represent that you meet the applicable age requirement in your jurisdiction.

5.2 Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Apple ID and subscription access.

5.3 Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the App for illegal purposes
  • Attempt to circumvent usage limits
  • Reverse-engineer or tamper with the App
  • Use automated scripts to abuse the service
  • Generate harmful, illegal, or offensive content

6. Content Policy

6.1 Your Content

You retain ownership of all text you input into iGrammar. By using the App, you grant us a license to process your text for transformation purposes only.

6.1.1 iCloud Sync

If you enable iCloud Sync, your personas and preferences may be stored in and synced through your own iCloud account (Apple CloudKit). Synced content lives in your iCloud and is governed by your Apple ID and Apple's terms; iGrammar (the Developer) cannot access it. You are responsible for your iCloud account and available storage. You may turn iCloud Sync off at any time in Settings > Data & Sync.

6.2 AI Output

AI-generated content is provided "as-is." We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI output. You are responsible for reviewing and editing any transformed text.

6.3 Prohibited Content

You agree not to use iGrammar to generate:

  • Illegal content
  • Hate speech or discriminatory content
  • Harassing or threatening content
  • Sexually explicit content
  • Content that infringes on intellectual property rights

We reserve the right to refuse service or terminate accounts that violate these policies.

6.4 Reporting Objectionable Content

If the AI generates offensive, inappropriate, or harmful content despite our safety filters, please report it to us immediately at support@iappclub.com. We actively monitor reports to improve our safety mechanisms and prevent future occurrences.

7. Intellectual Property

7.1 Our Rights

iGrammar, including all software, designs, and branding, is owned by iGrammar and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

7.2 Your Rights

You retain ownership of your original text content. However, AI-generated suggestions may incorporate ideas from the training data and are not copyrightable by you.

8. Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE
  • ACCURACY, RELIABILITY, OR AVAILABILITY OF THE APP OR AI OUTPUT
  • INTERRUPTION OR ERRORS IN THE SERVICE

We do not guarantee that:

  • The App will meet your requirements
  • The App will be uninterrupted or error-free
  • AI transformations will be accurate or suitable for your purposes

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, iGrammar SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

  • INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES
  • LOST PROFITS OR DATA
  • DAMAGES RESULTING FROM AI INACCURACIES OR ERRORS
  • DAMAGES EXCEEDING THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP (IF ANY)

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless iGrammar from any claims arising from:

  • Your use of the App
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any third-party rights

11. Termination

11.1 By You

You may stop using the App at any time. Canceling a subscription does not terminate these Terms.

11.2 By Us

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or engage in abusive behavior.

12. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via:

  • App update notifications
  • In-app announcements
  • Updated "Last Updated" date

Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada and the federal laws of Canada.

Dispute Resolution

Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in British Columbia, except where prohibited by law.

14. Third-Party Services

iGrammar integrates with third-party services:

  • Apple iCloud (optional data sync across your own devices)
  • Cloudflare Workers (proxy service)
  • OpenAI (AI provider)

Your use is also subject to their respective terms and policies.

15. Apple-Specific Terms

15.1 App Store Licensing

iGrammar is licensed to you by Apple under the App Store Terms of Service.

15.2 Apple's Liability

Apple is not responsible for the App or its content. Apple provides no warranties related to the App.

15.3 Purchase Disputes

All subscription purchases and refunds are processed through Apple. Contact Apple Support for billing issues.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force.

17. Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and iGrammar regarding iGrammar.
